Award-winning author Desiree Span lives in the Netherlands with her husband and two children. She’s lived in over five countries and speaks fluent Dutch, Spanish, English and Papiamento. Having moved around and lived in different countries, has given her a passion for traveling and an interest in getting to know different cultures, people and the stories they have to tell.

She has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Film and Performing Arts. When she’s not teaching English to her high school students, she’s either writing or curled up with a good romantic novel; one that sucks you in and then makes you regret that the story has come to an end, for you’ll miss its characters for days.
