May-May Meijer (1972) wrote her doctoral dissertation in the field of Communication Science at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She is the founder of the organization Peace SOS, which supports soft forces in countries that are currently embroiled in violent conflict. Besides this, she publishes work about her psychotic vulnerability in Schizophrenia Bulletin from Oxford University Press and on the Dutch website PsychoseNet.
