Fred Hamburg

Fred Hamburg studied law and medicine at the University of Leiden (The Netherlands). Until his retirement, he taught medical subjects and ethical decision-making and was special advisor to a foundation for medical ethics. In 2005 he completed his PhD on the thesis ‘A computer model for supporting euthanasia decisions.’

Fred Hamburg wrote books on decision analysis and political subjects. He also contributed to a handbook on ethics.
